Specialist in Providing Peace of Mind and Creating Strategies for Life

I work with people who live differently. People who take charge of their own destiny or are wanting to. They are mostly business owners, professionals, and families who aspire to something more.

My approach is all about asking the right questions and listening carefully. Starting with aspirations or goals, I help my clients identify and articulate what truly matters to them. I make it my priority to understand what success looks like to my clients and the specifics of where their priorities lie for those achievements, before I develop a tailored plan for them.

This extensive approach includes developing an effective risk management strategy with prudent use of insurance products, through to project management and facilitation with trusted professionals to create and implement a personal strategy for life.

Using my strong network of specialist experts, potentially including business advisers, lawyers, accountants, mortgage and insurance brokers; I help my clients to finalise wills, estate planning, mortgage, debt and cashflow management, KiwiSaver & investment advice, fire & general and asset insurance.

With over 35 years in the financial and business worlds, providing advice in New Zealand and the UK has given me powerful insight into what’s needed to build a successful life and protect it. Having successfully run and managed my own businesses for 26 years, I understand both the excitement and challenges that business owners and professionals face.

As the owner of Strategies for Life Limited (Trading as SHARE), I am a Financial Adviser and have a Diploma of Financial Planning (UK). In 2014 I was awarded the Pinnacle Award for Professional Development. I also served on the Professional Association board of NZFAA, prior to its merger into Financial Advice New Zealand.

I live in Kohimarama and love spending time with literally anything in or on the water, while in winter you’ll find me skiing at Mt Ruapehu or elsewhere. I also have a passion for travel and seeking out new and fascinating places.

Previously, I worked as a volunteer with the Wellington Free Ambulance Service and Ruapehu Ski Patrol, serving others in need and furthering my interest in all things medical. I am a strong supporter of the charities StarJam, Look Good Feel Better, and Make a Wish.

I only work with personal and professional introductions, so if you’re interested in creating greater certainty and implementing a personal strategy for the life you really want, let’s talk.
