Melanie is not your typical Financial Adviser having spent over 3 decades in Tax & ACC and a decade as a Property Investor and running Body Corporates.

Melanie completed the relaunched NZCFS L5 in Risk, Residential Lending and Investments including Managed Funds and KiwiSaver strands.   She qualified as a Legal Executive, NZIM Business Management and a Dip in Public Sector Compliance.

All this knowledge helps her to help her clients.  She is specialised and passionate in helping self-employed, business owners, contractors, tradespeople, professionals and women, to manage their risks through Risk Protection Planning, aligning with their needs and budget.  Ensuring that the right protection is in place and utilising ACC Cover Plus, to protect what is most important for her business clients and individuals including planning for retirement and goals.

Melanie is often complimented on her clear explanations in deciphering the jargon and she has a natural ability to relate to people of all ages with her down to earth, professional manner.

Melanie having had first-hand knowledge with having the right covers in place for her own medical treatments 5 years ago.  She is passionate now about ensuring all of her clients have the right cover in place now and into their futures, so they are not caught out or caught short, if something should happen.

When not working Melanie enjoys spending family time with her husband Andy, and she has 2 adult children and 1 son at College.  You can find her at the Hockey Turf or at 10 Pin Bowling as a proud supporter and she enjoys travel, walking and a good glass of wine!
